Player: Anthony Robinson
Class: 2023
Height: 6’10
School: Christ School

There is plenty of size to go around in North Carolina for the Class of 2023, as there are several big names that college coaches are looking at.  One big man that is rising up the rankings and catching the attention of a few college programs is 2023 6’10 Anthony Robinson at Christ School. We got our first glimpse over the summer during the LIVE period and recently captured him again at the November Classic, where he had two strong performances.

The 6’10 big has a strong frame, moves well in the post, and is active on the boards consistently; he showed all of that down in Charlotte just a few weeks ago.  But he also has a developing offensive feel, finishing at the rim when possible and showing touch down in the post, using his broad shoulders and length to his advantage.  With his big hands and upside in his game, Robinson could be a blossoming talent in North Carolina, which is why it will be interesting to see who gets more involved with him.

Recruitment Update:

When speaking to Robinson lately about his recruitment, he mentioned that he has been in steady contact with a few programs and he actually just wrapped up an unofficial visit to Tennessee. Robinson mentioned that the Vols seem to really like him and that he enjoyed the visit. He has been hearing interest from UNCG, Elon, Tennessee, Asheville, UIC, Western Carolina, and Georgia State. Elon has been expressing very strong interest his way.

NC Top 80 Evaluation:

“Moving onto a player who understands how to capitalize on opportunities within the flow of the action, Anthony Robinson. He’s a long, fluid, athletic post prospect with excellent physical tools and a ton of long-term upside remaining. Robinson plays with a high motor, unselfish nature, and looks to involve himself through making hustle plays. He’s already a strong defensive presence inside the paint, but also moves well in space on switches. Robinson also stood out as one of the top rebounders on this team. Next in his development process is working to get stronger, as it would make him an even better finisher through contact. Coach Whaley on Robinson: “Anthony is an athletic rim-protector who plays hard and above the rim. He’s a constant threat for lobs. Can keep working to refine his skillet. Possesses a lot of favorable tools.” Robinson enjoyed a nice showing at camp, and will definitely be a prospect to keep an eye on over the coming years at Christ School.”
