6’2 ’23 Andrew Schrage (Bishop McGuinness)

The Villains opened their day with a huge matchup against a noteworthy opponent, and Schrage was arguably their best player from start to finish. He’s a tough, scrappy, steadily developing point guard prospect who seems to get better with each viewing. Schrage attacks the basket well and finishes or makes the proper pass to an open teammate. He possesses unorthodox shooting mechanics, but can hit jumpers at a respectable clip. Schrage is a gamer who simply competes.

6’6 ’24 Kaden Hammond (Cummings)

Given his status as a nightly double-double for this team, folks shouldn’t be surprised to see Hammond continuing to excel as Cummings’ lone interior piece. He’s a big, strong-bodied post prospect with great hands, nice footwork, and useful touch around the basket. Hammond is an excellent screener who prefers to utilize his body to overpower opponents on the block, but can also effectively roll or pop out of the two-man action. He’s a sharp passer out of the post. Hammond should see increased movement within his recruitment sooner than later.

6’3 ’23 Nayshin Waller (Wayne Country Day)

Although the Chargers’ have impressive balance, it would be difficult to ignore everything Waller brough to the table. He’s a very well-rounded guard who understands how to naturally affect all facets of the game. Waller handles the ball with care, sets up others as needed, and scores the ball at a nice rate from all levels. He’s a strong defender with sharp instincts and the ability to force turnovers and push transition play with relative ease.

6’4 ’23 Zion McDuffie (Butler)

The Bulldogs have a variety of useful contributors, and McDuffie continues to stand out as one of their main focal points. He’s a strong, tough, athletic wing/forward prospect with the ability to finish, rebound, and defend multiple positions. McDuffie is a respectable perimeter shooter who moves fairly well without the ball and can push the break in transition. Expect him to have a productive high school season.

6’6 ’23 Rashad McCormick (Hough)

When watching this Hough squad, it’s easy to see the value that McCormick brings to the table. He’s a long, wiry, athletic wing/forward prospect with a useful penetration sense and the ability to finish through contact or above the rim. McCormick is a capable perimeter shooter and playmaker who looks to get downhill whenever possible. He still possesses clear upside as a defender.
