Final game of the day on Court 4, as Franklin Prep and Northwood Temple both wanted to come away with a win in this one.  Both teams were coming out competitive but the firepower that Northwood Temple played with, coming off a victory already on the day, continued.  They were led by Jaquantae Harris and Julian Williams, two leaders for this program this year, as they scored 18 first-half points.  Northwood Temple was able to create that early separation and Franklin Prep had trouble countering on the other end.  However, the outside shots are where they found the most success early on.  The second half was much of the same, as Northwood Temple continued to maintain their lead.  It was a balanced attack from them, as they were able to secure the 79-56 victory to end the day at the Phenom MLK Showcase.

Stats:
Northwood Temple:
Jaquantae Harris 16 points
Julian Williams 16 points
John Baldwin II 11 points

Franklin Prep:
DeAngelo Patterson 15 points
Davantae Gonzales 9 points
Jaren Poole 7 points

Standouts:

2021 Julian Williams (Northwood Temple): Williams just continues to produce on the court, as he is super active around the rim, plays bigger than listed, brings athleticism to the floor on both sides, and runs well in transition.  He continues to be productive and consistent in every game and should be a target for schools to look at.

2022 Jaquantae Harris (Northwood Temple): Harris played extremely well in running the offense, playing with a nice pace in the open floor and in the half-court. He continues to work well in getting inside the arc and making plays for himself, as he scored 16 points in the win.

2021 DeAngelo Patterson (Franklin Prep): Patterson played with a strong and physical mindset, but also giving us a blend of his outside game and playing off the ball or embracing contact, using his body, and attacking. Led the way for Franklin Prep.
