The Phenom Grassroots TOC is this weekend in Rock Hill/Fort Mill, as it is the first LIVE Period with Phenom Hoops this season. The talent pool runs deep throughout and we want to give college coaches a leg up on who to watch and who will be in action. Here are a few players to check out for each team, presented by the head coach.
CC Elite 2024 White
Grant Hamilton
• Class of 2024
• Shooting guard (6’0) Game Review:
One of the best shooters in the 2024 class. Grant split time on JV and varsity for the 4A state champion Weddington Warriors. He needs very little time and very little room to hit from deep. Grant will be a look for division 1 recruits
Joshua Clark
• Class of 2024
• Shooting guard (5’11) Game Review:
All-conference as a sophomore for Marvin Ridge. Runs the floor and finishes in transition exceptionally well. High motor player who brings energy to the entire team. Great instincts and solid team first defender.
Lucas Strickfaden
• Class of 2024
• Small Forward (6’4) Game Review:
Lucas played varsity for Pine Lake Prep as a sophomore. At 6’4” he has good size for a wing. He has a nice 3 point shot and runs the floor very well. He is sneaky athletic with an impressive vertical.
Jack Ellyson
• Class of 2024
• Shooting guard (6’1) Game Review:
Jack was a part time starter for the state champion Weddington Warriors. His diversity allowed him to play multiple positions. Good sized guard who can shoot the 3 or put it on the floor. High IQ, fundamental player.
