Tonight was the championship game at the dungeon.  The middle school league concluded with a bang, The  Bulls outlasted the Hornets. The contest lived up to everything expected, the bulls jumped out to a 12 to 2 early game lead, clinging to a six point lead at the halfway point.  The Hornets fought throughout the second half even making it a four point game at one point.  The Bulls relentless defense and dominating presence on the boards, overpowered the Hornets down the stretch.

5’6 Jahkelvin Rascoe
Bertie Middle School
8th Grade
Elite One Ballers

Not one of his best shooting nights as he struggled from the field, due in part to the lockdown defense that the Hornets played against him tonight he was still able to come up with 12 points, a plethora of rebounds and five steals.  His hard work and tremendous effort on defense help the Bulls to secure the wind down the stretch.

6’3 Jaquez Ramir Dixon

Jaquez is a player that seems to naturally find a way towards production, regardless of surrounding teammates. He’s a long, strong, athletic forward prospect with great rebounding instincts, an inside-out offensive game, and strong defensive versatility. He is great in transition and displays a quality feel for the game on both ends of the floor. Next in his development process is working to become a craftier ball-handler, as it would make him an even more lethal offensive threat. His footwork down low is very effective and he has a great second bounce. I was really impressed with his knack to crash the glass and get a ton of second-chance points. He runs the floor well for a big man and is always a threat to finish in transition. His upside is tremendous.” And you can not coach size at 6’3 in the 8th grade This definitely makes him a scholarship-level prospect.
