5’11 2022 Chastin Gatewood (Charlotte Supreme)

No player this weekend impressed me more with their consistent play than Chastin Gatewood. The lightning-quick guard has a midrange pull-up that exceeds what I had already recognized as an impressive part of his game last season. Gatewood is a nightmare for defenders to stay in front of in the open floor and can stop almost on a dime. Looking forward to his senior season.

6’0 2024 Shamel Baker (Eastern Carolina Phenomz)

Shamel Baker has impressed me time and time again. I believe that he has the ability to impact the game at a high enough level to start for a number of varsity programs as we speak. The consistent scoring guard makes it a purpose to lead in every game he plays in, regardless of the scoring output. Luckily, that output is usually amongst the best.

6’5 2026 Kendre’ Harrison (CSB Elite 2026)

Harrison is a player that, in my opinion, deserves early acknowledgment. The low-post product is a reliable target down low and provides matchup problems for most opposing teams. I believe he’d be able to play high school basketball right now as an 8th grader. His development will be based on his overall body growth, as well as the expansion of his offensive game.

6’7 2022 Jalen Mattocks (Charlotte Supreme)

Mattocks will provide Northside Christian Academy a solid interior piece with soft hands and defensive activity. He has a well-built frame for a low-post forward and allows the offense to come to him rather than demanding his own. I surely believe he can help a few programs at the next level, as he’s already
