Phenom's Low Country Showcase will take place on January 20 in Charleston, South Carolina (at Porter Gaud School) and as expected, the event is loaded with talent. There are a number of unsigned seniors who will be playing for exposure and scholarships. In an event with no shortage of talent look at these players who will be performing with a chip on their shoulders.

THE LIST
Unsigned Seniors to Watch
Phenom's Low Country Showcase (January 20)

6'7' Kyron Gray of Hartsville HS
Gray is making waves because of his immense rebounding ability. As a junior, last season, he averaged 14 rebounds per game. This year he has bumped that up to 15 rebounds per game. He has also bumped his scoring up from 10 points to 18 points per game. The 6'7 forward has a 6'11 wing span and great hands. His rebounding will translate because it is based on hard work. He is young for his grade, so a prep season could be in tact, however his best basketball is clearly in front of him. No offers yet, but a big showing against Porter Gaud in this event will continue to open a lot of eyes.

6'4' Kevin Williamson of Aiken HS
Williamson is a pure scorer. A 3.4 GPA it is a wonder why Williamson does not have numerous offers already. Currently, his team is sitting at 13-1 and the #2 ranking in South Carolina's 4A Division. Williamson is leading the team with 14 points, shooting 40% from 3. He is also adding 6 rebounds and 3 assists per game. Williamson is a smooth scorer with all kinds of upside coming. No offers yet, that should change more.

6'7' Ahkeem Lawson of Lakewood HS
Lawson plays a very strong game in the post. He has great length and natural strength on the block with an ability to rebound and finish, consistently, from 10 feet and in. He is a consistent 10 and 8 guy playing for a very good Lakewood team. You know what you're getting with Lawson, and he does all the stuff you want your bigs to do. Look for an uptick among the D2 coaches.

6'3' Marque Maultsby of Garner HS
Perhaps no player has enhanced their stock more than Maultsby this year. He is a long and incredibly quick twitch lead guard who is an elite on the ball defender. Maultsby is great in transition and finishes high above the rim. He makes his team better, on both ends of the floor. Mautlsby has been offered a walk-on spot to UNC, and if you look at UNCs group of walk-ons they all have numerous D1 offers (Luke Maye, Walker Miller, Stillman White, etc'). Look for the D1s to come, he's a winner.

5’11 Grant Singleton of Lakewood HS
Singleton has been voted as one of the best 5 players in South Carolina public schools and he has done nothing but enhance his stock throughout the season. Averaging 18 points per game and shooting over 90% from the free throw line, game in and game out Singleton has performed as one of the top guys. He carries offers from the likes of Coker and St Thomas Aquinas and has numerous D1s looking at him. The wins, the numbers, the moxie, they all speak for themselves as these coaches are all sniffing down the right track here.
