6’6 Keyonee Terry (Crossroads Christian)

There are a lot of intriguing prospects within this class, and that certainly includes Terry. He possesses obvious physical appeal with his blend of length, fluidity, and athleticism. Terry has the necessary size and instincts to toggle between multiple positions defensively. He forces turnovers at a healthy rate and pushes transition play whenever possible. Terry also rebounds his position quite well and is skilled enough to initiate the break. That being said, he continues to make strides as an all-around offensive cog. Terry displays natural vision and feel with an improving handle and jumper. All signs point to him having a highly productive season.

6’2 DJ West (Trinity Academy)

Plenty of players develop at their own pace, and it appears West is starting to truly harness his long-term ability. Although he’s always found success as a complementary piece, especially given his perimeter shooting, but seems ready for more responsibility. West is blossoming as a creator, both for himself and others, and scorer from all levels. He possesses a strong body, which allows him to absorb contact when attacking the basket. West plays under control and makes smart decisions with the ball in his hands. Add in his reliable rebounding and defensive presence, and it’ll be interesting to see how his upcoming season unfolds.

6’7 Braden Miller (Lake Norman)

After seeing Miller perform across several games with the Wildcats, it’s becoming increasingly clear that he’s going to be the undisputed leader of this group. He’s a very skilled, adaptable post player who can score, rebound, and make plays defensively. Miller is comfortable operating from the block, mid or high post, and beyond the arc. He finishes well with either hand and scores effectively with his back to the basket. Miller’s blend of touch, strength, and vision makes him a very strong offensive hub. He battles well for position to secure rebounds and knows how to alter shots as an interior defender. Miller should be a nightly double-double threat.

6’6 Will Hall (Carson)

The newest piece to the Cougars, Hall, immediately brings a very interesting dynamic to this roster. At 6-foot-6, he’s a long, wiry wing/forward with the ability to do a lot of different things on the court. Hall is versatile enough to knock down jumpers, attack the basket, score out of the post, or make plays with the ball in his hands. He shoots the ball at a reliable clip along the perimeter, but also displays solid vision as a passer. Hall is a quality finisher above the rim who lurks extremely well for putbacks. He rebounds his position well and is capable of toggling between various types of opponents defensively. Given the Cougars’ weapons, Hall should be a seamless addition.
