We continue to look at unsigned seniors around the region, as we bring you yet another prospect to shed a little bit more light on.

2023 Connor Higginbotham is another unsigned senior to check out if you haven’t. Higginbotham is coming off a strong senior campaign at Cardinal Gibbons, in which he averaged 13.3ppg, 3.2rpg, and 2.3apg, while shooting 42 percent from the floor and 34 percent from three.

When we watched Higginbotham in action, you could see that he brings a steady hand and leadership to the court. Though battling through some injuries this past year, Higginbotham continued to show his ability to knock down shots from multiple levels, but he also brings good athleticism to the table, loves to defend, and can help stretch the defense with his outside shooting ability.

Check out more of his highlights and what we have said below about his game in the past.

What Has Been Said:

“Higginbotham helped carry a majority of the handling and creation responsibilities for conference-winning Cardinal Gibbons. He earns this spot because of his ability to produce and impact winning while fighting through injuries all season long. He averaged 12p, 2r, and 2.4a per game in conference play. He was a steady presence with the ball in his hands, putting up an A/TO ratio of just under 2. He also shined as a shotmaker and finisher around the rim. Injuries hurt his chances of pushing for the first team but the talent is undeniable with the 6’2” senior.”

“Connor is more technical and likes to score from the outside, whether it be off the bounce or the catch. He is more likely to use floaters and mid-range pull-ups to score over taller defenders. Don’t be fooled as Connor will still go through someone’s chest to score, he just tends to prefer the outside game more.”
