After months of travel ball building up to the first Live period of the season, we have finally reached our G3 Showcase. The event is set to have a ton of next-level prospects in addition to new faces worthy of attention from onlooking college coaches. The event will take place at Rock Hill, Indian Land, and Rock Hill Sports and Events Center from Friday through Sunday. What we’ve said:

“Ross is simply amazing. Difficult to say anything new, since he continues to dominate through his usual balanced, unselfish approach. Elite playmaker with an incredibly high IQ. Picks his spots extremely well as a scorer.”

“Peters is strong, skilled, and physical. Utilizes his body extremely well as a finisher and rebounder. Possesses great footwork, perimeter shooting, and touch with either hand. Consistent double-double threat.”

“Davis is making strides within his development. Obvious physical appeal as a long, wiry, fluid big man, but also improving each time out. Doing a great job of battling for rebounds, walling up, and running the floor in transition.”

“Ortiz has all the tools to be an asset at the next level. Tough, natural glue-guy who plays with energy and impacts both ends of the floor. Capable initiator, rebounder, and versatile defender.”

“Watkins offers a reliable interior presence on both ends of the floor. Great rebounder and shot-altering presence with a sturdy frame and solid motor. Runs hard in transition. Possesses nice upside.”

“Rollins is a scrappy guard who finds opportunities within the flow of the action. Plays with terrific energy. Knows his role.”

“Davis continues to get better each time out. Plays hard and looks to do the dirty work. Willing to make the extra pass and do the dirty work.”

“Love the upside of Sumpter. Super long wing prospect with serious range on his jumper. Shown flashes of being able to make plays off the bounce and attack closeouts effectively. Plenty of room for optimism physically.”
