Name: Alex Tchikou
School: Alabama
Class: Redshirt Freshman

2020-21: Ruptured his Achilles tendon prior to the start of the season and was forced to sit out the year as a medical redshirt. This past season, Tchikou only saw six minutes of play, with his last game coming in November.

Though Tchikou hasn’t had the start to his college career that he would have liked, the former four-star 6’11 should have several programs checking in on him as he has entered his name into the transfer portal.

Phenom Hoops watched Tchikou on several occasions with Dream City a few years ago and were impressed with what he brought to the table along with his long frame.  When watching his game back then, you couldn’t help but notice his versatility on the court, especially with his ability to stretch the floor, be a perimeter threat, and his feel for the game.  Add all of that along with his ability to play multiple positions at the time and his help on the boards, Tchikou will be an interesting player to follow in the transfer portal.  He also added some weight to his frame, now coming in at 230 pounds.

Below are a few highlights of when he was with Dream City playing in a Phenom Hoops event.
