6’4 Cyrus Ellison of Upward Stars Pee Dee 16U is a strong athlete who makes his money in the paint. Attacks the boards relentlessly and looks to get every rebound. Has great touch around the basket and finishes through contact. Looks to attack the rim hard and really looks to get out in transition. A versatile player who showed the ability to guard multiple positions. Active on both sides of the ball.
6’3 Dmarion Riley of OTOD 2022 can score the ball from all three levels. Good scorer that looks to get to the rim in transition. Attacks the rim well with a great pace and change of direction and is a crafty finisher. Shoots the ball well from three off of the catch. Finished the game with 19 points with 3 made three’s.
5’11 Jalen Huntley of Main Event Elite is a problem on the offensive end. Attacks the rim hard and is athletic. Crafty finisher who finishes through contact. Has a great frame for a point guard and uses that to his advantage. Controls the pace of the game and changes speed very well. Knocks down open shots and creates space off the dribble which allows him to be a productive scorer. Finished with 28 points with 4 made threes.
7’0 Patrick Wessler of CC Elite 2022-2021 17U is a monster in the paint. Tenacious rebounder on both sides of the ball. Good rim protector that can block shots. Very skilled on the offensive end; showed the ability to play with his back to the basket and face up. Can really shoot the ball for his size. One of the most skilled post players that I’ve seen. Easy to see why he is a High Major Prospect.
