2024 Jake Weckerle (Charlotte Royals)
We would have a lot more productive post in today’s game if they all understood how key their positioning on the court is like Jake. A long consistent finisher that got to his spots early and held his ground, he’s a reliable presence to have in your frontcourt as he protects the ball with his length, doesn’t waste time making his moves, plays hard and runs the floor, and also is showing the awareness and timing to accommodate his reach to be a shot alterer. I see him having a quality junior season at Ardrey Kell under their system with his steady play.

2026 Nick Keith (Team United GSO)
Both when I saw him with GDS at the Blue Chip Summer League and now tonight, Nick has done a superb job asserting himself as a leader for his squad. Tonight he really showed a good understanding of pacing himself and seeing what the defense was doing, he had traps coming at him right as he crossed half court and broke them down every time with split-second decisions. He’s a steady ball-handler with soft-touch scoring and range on his three-ball. He should flourish under the Bengal’s system coming up.

2026 Tony Odom (Team USC)
In the younger grades, it’s very easy for certain athletes to dominate and be seemingly everywhere on the court. Tony exemplified this on multiple occasions throughout their contest, using his long wiry frame to get his hands on balls forcing turnovers, really excelling in transition, and using his athleticism to showcase an early feel for the game. He displayed skill with his takes and led a balanced charge in their opening win this weekend.

2026 Marcel Gray (1 of 1)
Every high school coach is looking for this type of guy at his middle school. Marcel is a long, active, and athletic forward that plays team-centered ball and produces. He’s the kind of guy the coach immediately wants to get in reps with the varsity to get him in his system, but already displays a general understanding of how to use his growing frame and make plays. The lefty was efficient with his touches and could honestly do a lot more if he got more aggressive, which I think will come as he hits the weight room.
