The Queen City Showcase in Rock Hill this weekend is going to be off the charts. With talent all on the floor, livestreams streaming the games, and a ton of coverage from Phenom Hoops, this is going to be one of the best events to start the travel ball season.
That is why we wanted to get a leg up on it, as we spoke to several coaches that will be bringing their teams to South Carolina this weekend. Below, we look at a few players that you may want to check out on the court, whether you are a college coach, a scout, or a fan.

Christopher Pope – 2023/ 6’4
Coach’s Thoughts: CJ is a Swiss Army knife player. Plays 1-5, very effective around the basket both rebounding and finishing
Thomas Collins – 2023/ 6’1
Coach’s Thoughts: TC is all-around hustle. His athleticism allows him to play and defend multiple positions. Part of South Point Stallions championship team
Quentin Houston – 2023/ 6’0
Coach’s Thoughts: Q leads the backcourt defensive attack. Plays 1-3, A sniper that can score at all 3 levels avg. 18ppg
Joel Strait – 2024/ 6’0
Coach’s Thoughts: Joel is the floor general. Very high basketball IQ. Plays mostly 1 but can play and defend 1-4. A very crafty and shifty player
