2022 CJ Harrist (Team HOPE 2022): Though he didn’t have the scoring output, you can not deny what he does as a leader and point guard for this team.  He reads defenders well, makes terrific passes in setting up his teammates, and plays with a tremendous IQ and feel.  True leader on the court.

2022 6’4 Titus Cunningham (Team HOPE 2022): Cunningham has intriguing size at 6’4 and length to go with it, which allows him to operate and play multiple positions on the floor. He was smooth out in transition, finishes over defenders, and was a consistent threat on the court.

2023 Jacob Brandly (Combine White): Brandly continues to have a productive summer, being one of the catalysts for his team.  TO start his tournament off, he showcased his perimeter shooting, knocking down multiple three’s form different spots.  One thing is for sure with this young man… he knows how to put points on the board.

2022 Xavier McKelvy (Charlotte Royals 2022): Not sure what else I could say about this young man but he may be one of the most consistent players we have seen all springs/summer long.  He scores it with confidence from all three levels, uses his athleticism to finish strong at the rim or get on the boards, and makes winning plays. Love this kid’s game and think he is another highly underrated player in NC.

2022 Quadeir Hand (Team Knicks): Hand plays a solid game.  Even despite his size, he plays bigger and stronger than listed, competes down low, and understands how to finish around the basket.  Hand plays with a consistent motor and just always seems to be active on both ends of the floor.

2021 Justin Brown (Defenders 17u Elite): Despite his size, Brown was terrific in helping his team win especially when he got out in transition. He is shifty and quick in the open floor, has a nice feeling for space, and finished well when he got to the basket.

2022 Marcus Willis (Charlotte Royals 2022): Part of the duo for the Royals, Willis brings another dimension and scoring power to the floor for his team, using his speed and quickness to his advantage, terrific in changing directions and getting around defenders, and showing a nice balance of scoring inside the paint and out.
