2024 Papa Kounta (S3 Academy): There is a program that needs to snag Kounta, as the 6’5 prospect has put up two strong events and is one that can help a team at the next level. He has the size and versatility that you have to like, while also being able to play and defend multiple positions. Kounta is at his best when he is attacking downhill and getting to the basket but shows flashes of his ability to score in a variety of other ways.

2024 Erik Villarreall (ISA PG Grey): A new name for sure but one that deserves to be on the list with what he has shown over the first two days. He has had two good performances so far, putting up strong numbers and showing himself to be one of the better shooters at the event. He does an excellent job in finding the open spots and has a ton of confidence in letting it fly off the catch. Really good range in his game as he has hit several threes throughout the event.

2024 Bryce Wilkins (ESA): It has now been back-to-back days that Wilkins has been really strong for his team. A familiar face to Phenom Hoops, Wilkins has really started to put things all together and be more assertive on the offensive end, using his length to finish well around the basket and over defenders, and showing just how productive he can be.

2024 Timbre Kirk/ 2024 Ty Washington (DSA Prep Academy): Washington really captured more of my eyes with his game as the game went along. One thing that you could see is that he has the speed to his game and can use it well when creating off the bounce, getting around defenders and being explosive at the basket. Kirk did a good job in playing off the ball and making the defense pay with his perimeter game, knocking down multiple threes.

2024 PJ James (Bridgeport Prep): James has been consistent all weekend long and I believe he should have snagged a few eyes his way with his play overall. Whether it was his ability to run the show, play with pace and under control, pick his spots and attack, use his frame to score through defenders inside or knock down shots, James was the steady presence for Bridgeport Prep on both days.

2024 Brandon Ivery (AIA Prep): Ivery had a very good showing against Bridgeport, as it was a tight battle and I was impressed with his energy and motor, along with his willingness to battle, his athleticism, and his impact in a variety of other ways. Attacked and got downhill, attacking the rim on several occasions.

2024 Jeremiah McCain (Believe Prep): Over the last two events, McCain has been the one that has stood out to me with this balanced group. He is a big-framed guard who can surprise you with his ability to create, has a smooth feel in getting his shots, isn’t afraid to take the big shots, but also creates well off the dribble for his teammates.

2024 Cameron McKnight (New Rock Prep Academy): McKnight put on a show with his 41-point performance to lead his team. Whether it was knocking down shots from the perimeter, getting to his spots on the court, making strong moves off the bounce, or finding ways to get to the line, McKnight put on a show in front of college coaches.
