School: West Stokes
Classification: 2A

West Stokes is coming off a 7-7 season last year but bring back some firepower this year, as they hope to make a little bit more noise this upcoming season.  When you look at their roster and start breaking it down, you have to look at the key returning players.  2023 6’6 forward Bryson Bowman returns from last year after averaging 9.0 points and 5.1 rebounds, shooting nearly 49 percent from the floor and 41 percent from three.

Then you start heading down to 2024 6’3 Cam Edmonds, who had an impressive freshman season.  He led the team in points, averaging just over 12 points per game.  His performance helped him earn All-Conference honors, as he looks to make a bigger impact as a sophomore.  2024 Keyon Rawley, a 6’3 guard, is one to keep an eye on.  He played limited minutes last year but should step up for this team this upcoming season.  Lastly, 2023 James Spainhour, a 6’7 post, will look to lead the charge down low.  He led the team in rebounds and blocks last year, posting averages of 7.0 rebounds per game.

As far as newcomers for West Stokes, 2024 Tyler Moran is a young 5’10 point guard that could be a name to jot down. Though this is still a young team, they return some key guys with a year’s experience under their belt. Now, West Stokes looks to improve on their .500 record and make a little more noise this high school season.
