5’11 2024 JJ Moore
JJ is a quick, shifty guard who has the ability to create his own shot or plays for others. Even though he isn’t the biggest guy on the floor he will be one of the toughest players who will compete at a high level. JJ has the ability to impact the game defensively with his ability to put pressure on the ball handler. He also does a great job rebounding for his size & position. The paint touch guard also has a smooth shooting stroke from the perimeter.
6’3 2024 Jermaurhiyun Anderson
Jermaurhiyun will be the leader/head of the snake for the Pharaohs this season. The lefty combo guard has the ability to really get to his spots on the floor. He plays the game at his own pace. Jermaurhiyun does a good job using his body on drives. He excels at getting to the rim or getting to his mid-range jumper. Jermaurhiyun will be able to guard multiple guard/wing positions this season.
6’3 2025 Elijah Mobley
Elijah is a long, athletic guard who has the ability to play and guard multiple positions on the court. He is one of the hardest workers on the team. Elijah will be a player who should be able to play multiple roles for the Pharaohs this season He has the ability to attack the rim and make shots from the perimeter.
6’6 2025 Sabree Scott
Sabree will be a name to know in the Hoop State this season. He has tons of upside and potential. The long, skilled wing has a smooth release from the perimeter. Sabree also has the ability to attack off the bounce and make plays getting to the rim. I look forward to watching him this season with the Pharaohs.
6’6 2024 Da’mori Lytch
Damori is another incomer to the Hoop State. The one thing that stood out to me is how hard he competed and battled. The strong, athletic forward will be a mismatch nightmare and will make his presence known on both sides of the ball. Damori will impact the game defensively with his length and athleticism and will be a monster on the boards. Offensively, Damori excels getting to the rim but he is more than capable in catch-and-shoot situations from the perimeter.
6’3 2024 Darius Caldwell
Darius could be the X-Factor for the Pharaohs this season. The strong, physical guard does all the little things on the court. He isn’t scared to do the dirty work and does a good job giving up his body defensively taking charges. At his size and position he rebounds really well. Offensively, he can make shots from the perimeter and 1 dribble pull-ups.
6’3 2024 Armaan Benitez
Armaan is a long, athletic guard who has the ability to impact the game on both sides of the floor. He does a good job defensively both guarding on & off the ball. He uses his length really well defensively getting deflections/steals. Offensively, Armaan plays within the framework of the offense and has the ability to knock down shots from the perimeter. He will get out in transition and finish above the rim.
