6’3 2026 Dane Cassada
Dane will be Calvary’s leader/head of the snake this season. The intelligent, high-IQ guard can beat you from the perimeter and off the bounce. Dane does a tremendous job controlling the tempo and playing the game at his own pace. He makes suitable basketball play and rarely makes mistakes on the court. Dane is a knockdown shooter from the perimeter. He uses his body exceptionally well on drives. He is a workaholic, constantly working to add strength and quickness to his game. Dane should have a big-time sophomore season for the Cougars.
6’3 2025 Asher Tolbert
Asher is a long, skilled guard who can play and guard multiple positions on the court. He played exceptionally well this spring and summer with the NC Spartans. Asher is a confident shooter who can knock down shots at a high level. He continues to improve his overall game and has shown the ability to drive closeouts and finish at the rim. Look for Asher to play a significant role for the Cougars this season.
6’1 2026 Owen Calvert
Owen is a gritty, high-IQ guard who competes at a high level. He is a player you want on your team. Even though Owen isn’t the biggest guy on the floor, he doesn’t back down from anyone. Owen can impact the game on both sides of the ball. He uses his quickness extremely well defensively to guard the ball handler. Owen is a knockdown shooter from the perimeter and always makes the suitable basketball play. He has improved his ability to make shots off the bounce in the mid-range.
6’0 2025 Bryson Mickey
Bryson is a gamer. He is a savvy, crafty guard who can fill it up from the perimeter. Bryson plays the game at his own pace and does a great job using his body on drives. He is a willing passer and sees the floor exceptionally well. Even though Bryson isn’t the fastest guy on the court, he has good anticipation skills and quick defensive hands defensively. Bryson is another guard who will add tremendous depth to the Cougars roster.
6’6 2024 Jordan Richardson
Jordan is the lone senior on the Cougars roster. He should bring a lot of leadership to this group. He can knock down shots from the perimeter at his size and has improved his finishing skills around the basket. He plays within the game’s framework and makes suitable basketball play.
2025 Carson Bennett
Carson can fill up the stat sheet. Even though he Isn’t a shooter, he can impact the game in various ways. He makes the game easier for his teammates by putting them in situations to score. Carson rebounds the basketball exceptionally well for his size and position.
6’4 2025 Nathan Keegan
Nathan is another player who should have a breakout season for the Cougars. He can fill it up from the perimeter. He is perfect in catch-and-shoot situations. Nathan is relentless defensively and on the glass.
6’5 2025 Grayson Crouch
Grayson is a 6’5 forward who will add more depth to this talented roster. He brings good size and will be a spark off the bench for the Cougars.
6’1 2025 Riley Reece
Riley is the type of player you want on your team. He does all the little things on the court that lead to winning. Riley is a culture guy/leader. He can guard multiple positions defensively. He battles every single possession. He should give the Cougars positive minutes this season.
6’6 2026 Josiah Spillman
Josiah is your more traditional big guy. He uses his body well in the post and scores with angles and drop-offs. Josiah is still growing and will continue to get better with time.
