Just because the LIVE period is over in April, doesn’t mean that Phenom Hoops is stopping their coverage, as we are bringing you a ton of post-event coverage as well throughout the coming weeks.  Let’s dive into a few players and teams that we saw at the event, as we shed light on players that performed well throughout.

Upward Stars Pee Dee 17u

2024 Ghaleb Wilson – Wilson is a 6’2 prospect that is a strong, athletic prospect that can be a three-level scorer, and make a difference on both ends of the court. He sets the tone as a ball-handler, brings a tremendously balanced attack, and can be effective in a variety of ways on the court (whether he is attacking off the bounce or knocking down shots). He showed that throughout the weekend at the event, getting to the line, being aggressive, knocking down open shots with range, but also making an impact in a variety of other ways.

2024 Keenan DuBose – Dubose is another one of those guards that simply got it done! He was putting on a show at times, displaying his ability to take over a game and be a force on the court, but he also brought tremendous energy throughout. The 6’0 combo guard plays hard on both ends and is able to not only get others involved but make plays for himself; such a playmaker on the court. He displayed that with games in which he finished with 21 points and hitting from inside and out. But he also had games in which he didn’t force and fit right within the offense.

2024 Mike Green – Green is a long, athletic prospect, standing around 6’7 or 6’8, does a nice job in running the floor, and using his length/athleticism to his advantage. He can finish at the rim or show nice touch, along with good quickness and reaction time off the glass. But what he also can do is help protect the rim. There is intrigue with his game and his development, as he could be a sneaky player to watch for in South Carolina.

Then you had other players to watch out for; 2024 Tyler Henderson continued to display his shot-making ability with range throughout the event.  2025 6’7 Jackson Robinson had flashes in his game, being a presence at or around the basket. 2024 6’4 Ty Stanley was able to bring versatility to the court, playing with a high motor, making plays, moving well without the ball, and always staying active. And there were others that filled in nicely for this team throughout the event.  Overall, this is a team that has a few guys that should be looked at more, and you will want to see more of them this summer.
