Just because the LIVE period is over in April, doesn’t mean that Phenom Hoops is stopping their coverage, as we are bringing you a ton of post-event coverage as well throughout the coming weeks.  Let’s dive into a few players and teams that we saw at the event, as we shed light on players that performed well throughout.

God’s Gift

Phenom Hoops was lucky enough to have teams from Illinois come through our platform, so we wanted to shed some more light on what we saw throughout the event.  Diving first into God’s Gift Nichols, they had a few players that really filed it up.  2024 5’11 Avian Abrams Jr displayed his quickness in making plays on the floor. Creating well off the dribble, attacking and picking his spots, and being as strong finisher.  But he wasn’t alone, 2024 5’9 Samar Bures was right there with him in being assertive, getting inside the paint, and finding ways to finish over defenders but also get to the free throw line consistently. 2024 6’1 Avery Hearn was another strong scoring option, as these three really played well all throughout the event.

For God’s Gift Blue, 2024 Roosevelt Walker was one of the clear leaders for this group; he did a great job in knocking down threes, getting to his spots well, and being a strong weapon with his confident shot-making ability.  But he wasn’t alone, as he had held from players like 2025 Jaylen Moore (shot the ball well and displayed his ability to be a threat from the perimeter), 2025 Korey Cagnolatti (a versatile weapon offensively on the court), and several others really played well for this team.
