Just because the LIVE period is over in April, doesn’t mean that Phenom Hoops is stopping their coverage, as we are bringing you a ton of post-event coverage as well throughout the coming weeks.  Let’s dive into a few players and teams that we saw at the event, as we shed light on players that performed well throughout.

Strong Center 2024

Strong Center has been a staple here on the Phenom Hoops platform, as we take a look at Strong Center 2024 Jones first.  This was a team that had some intriguing talent to check out more and should have more of a spotlight their way.  2024 6’8 Greg Ehlinger is a mobile forward that has seen his stock rise over the last few months.  He showcases nice touch around the basket, uses his length well to alter/block shots, and has developed his ability to pop out also.  2024 6’3 Cameron Hunter is a gritty guard that plays hard, can bring versatility to the court, and showed his ability to step up offensively with his ability to score inside and out. Another high motor guy, 2024 6’6 Zachary Johnson was another player that filled in his role; he plays hard on both sides of the ball, as well as displays the ability to knock down shots from multiple levels with a confident shooting stroke.

Now, let’s look at Strong Center 2024 Cary/Holly… 2023 Caleb Gilmore was a consistent offensive threat every time he stepped on the court. He was filling it up, scoring all over the court, attacking the defense, finding ways to get to the basket, and really put up huge numbers.  2024 5’9 Leon Cain III is an energetic guard that made strong plays, created off the dribble, finds his teammates as well, and competes defensively. 2024 6’7 Logan Ware has been a forward that I believe goes a bit under the radar but continues to make his presence felt.  Ware is always active on the floor, helps on both ends on the glass, and is a forward that has continued to develop his perimeter game, making him more versatile at his size.

Strong Center 2025

Looking now at the 2025 team with Strong Center Jones, there are players that you will want to jot down and watch more as they continue to develop.  One player that has had a big summer so far, and has really seen an uptick in his overall stock is 2025 6’3 Will James.  He has elevated his game to another level, is able to consistently produce offensively, creates well inside and out, makes smart plays, and can really bring a strong production to the table.  Another player that I would be looking at is 2025 6’7 Jake Cackovic; he has the size, the skillset, and produces in a variety of ways on the floor.  He spaces the floor well, can knock down shots but also be a presence inside, and has a good IQ for the game.

And when you look at the rest of the roster, 2024 Kameron Taylor, 2025 David Major, 2025 Graham Moose, and 2025 Grant Overman all stepped up in key situations throughout the event.
