Just because the LIVE period is over in April, doesn’t mean that Phenom Hoops is stopping their coverage, as we are bringing you a ton of post-event coverage as well throughout the coming weeks.  Let’s dive into a few players and teams that we saw at the event, as we shed light on players that performed well throughout.

Upward Stars Columbia 2025 Savage

2025 6’1 Xavier Johnson – Johnson had a solid showing throughout the event.  He was able to consistently lead the charge for his team, bringing a balanced attack from outside and inside.  Whether he was able to stretch the floor with his shot-making, or his ability to attack and be a playmaker, Johnson continued to show how useful of a weapon he can be on the court.

2025 5’9 Yasir Cromer – Cromer is a pesky guard on the court that was able to be an effective scoring option but he was also a prospect that can fill it up and be useful in other areas. Whether he was capitalizing on scoring opportunities, dishing to his teammates for easy baskets, being active defensively, or helping in other ways, Cromer simply just was able to be a strong presence all over the court.

2025 Damarcus Haliburton and 2025 Blake Wilson – These two 6’4 prospects can be valuable pieces on the court.  Not only do they bring size for their position, but they also understand their roles and what they can bring. Both had flashes throughout, but they are very good pieces that help the team win.

2025 6’0 Reggie Mack – Mack has had a strong month and continues to be a useful guard on the court.  He is a tough, rugged guard that plays with an unselfish mindset but also has had the opportunities to showcase how he can step up as an offensive weapon. He penetrates and makes plays well, makes good decisions on the court, and also can hurt opponents with his outside shooting.

2025 6’1 Shannon Davis – Davis was yet another player that played well and was consistent throughout.  He plays with confidence on the floor, and is a long guard that can rise up and knock down open shots from inside and out, but also has great touch around the basket, runs the floor well, and is always active on the floor.
