POB’s Eye Catchers from Phenom Seros Open (Class of 2026)

2026 Trevor Manhertz (Garner Road) Manhertz may have been the breakout player of the event with what he showed; we have been waiting for this young man and he has now arrived, as we could see the potential in his game, but everything had to come together. Well, we...

National Names Shine Big at Phenom Seros Open

2027 Lincoln Cosby (444 Athletics) Cosby comes in ranked as a Top 10 prospect in his class and you can see a lot of the intrigue with his game. Standing around 6’9, Cosby flourished in various roles and areas on the court, making him a tough matchup when locked in. He...

Player Standouts at Phenom Seros Open 804

6’7 ’28 Modu Abdulrahman (Team New England) Young players possessing physical advantages are fairly common. However, it’s much different when those guys are also armed with the proper mentality to harness those tools. If anyone embodies this notion, it’s Modu...

Upward Stars 3SSB makes a statement at Grassroots TOC

What made the Phenom Grassroots TOC so special is that we had some of the big-named programs from around the region come and compete all on the court, bringing some intense competition to Rock Hill (SC). We were eager to see what our good friends at Upward Stars 3SSB...

Noteworthy Performances at the Phenom Grassroots TOC

2027 Jordan Wiseman (Sewer South) Avery had a strong showing throughout and was part of a Sewer South team that grabbed my attention. He attacked well, was able to get downhill and be assertive, scored strong, and just be a playmaker on the court. 2027 Connor Hodgson...

POB’s Eye-Catching Performers: Phenom Grassroots TOC (Class of 2028)

2028 RJ Davis (Cp3 EYBL) Davis is a player I would watch this summer and down the road, as he could have a “blow up” type summer with CP3. There are a lot of factors in his game with his length, 6’5 frame, and bounce, but he also has a ton of potential left in the...
