The Phenom Grassroots TOC is this weekend in Rock Hill/Fort Mill, as it is the first LIVE Period with Phenom Hoops this season. The talent pool runs deep throughout and we want to give college coaches a leg up on who to watch and who will be in action. Here are a few players to check out for each team, presented by the head coach.

Team PUSH NC 2022 Black

Jemez Herd
2022
6’7”
One of the best overall prospects on the Team PUSH NC unsigned senior roster. Can rim run or play the perimeter as an effective scorer to 3 point range. Has received multiple offers at the D3 and JuCo level, as well as a PWO offer to Western Carolina.

Jaylan Bowen
2022
5’9” G
Strong guard from a solid Millbrook HS program. Never lacking effort, and consistently getting into the lane for paint touches. Has range to 3 point and will defend the other team’s best perimeter player willingly.

Jayden Michael
2022
6’1” G
The most consistent performer during Team PUSH NC 2022 Black’s run to a championship at the Phenom Hoop Report: Spring Tip-Off. Gets to the lane at will and looks for his teammates to knock down threes and open jump shots. At his best operating in P&R situations.

Charlie Whitley
2022
6’6” F/C
Consistent scorer on the block. Shines when sealing, catching the ball in the paint, and using his footwork and physicality to score on defenders. Excellent work ethic and attitude. Can score in bunches and defend around the rim.

AK Land
2022
6’2” G
Knock-down shooter with range to three. Shines as a role player who defends on the perimeter, creates space with his shooting, and attacks off the bounce. Humility is one of his greatest strengths, as he always looks to get better and leverage knowledge from his coaches.
