The Mustangs opened up a 32-30 lead at halftime and held on in the 2nd half to take the win by a score 60-55 in the Western Foothills 3A Conference game played Friday night in Denver.
The Mustangs had two players in double figures led by senior, Palmer Crichton, who had 16 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals, while junior, Houston Hartsell, also had 16 points.
The Red Raiders had two players in double figures, led by Beckham Tharpe, who had 15 points, while Cade Kidd, added 12 points.
The Mustangs will host the North Lincoln Knights on Tuesday, January 17 in a key Western Foothills 3A Conference game with sole possession of 2nd place on the line, while the Red Raiders will be on the road against the West Iredell Warriors.
