We continued the day into Game 2 of the night, as the host school Charlotte Latin took on JM Robinson in what looked to be an absolute battle early on.  Robinson came out strong, showcasing their physicality and ability to attack, as it helped them gain the early edge at 18-10 after the first quarter.  Charlotte Latin though started to settle down in the second quarter and get going offensively, cutting into the deficit early on.  But Robinson was able to maintain their lead throughout the second quarter behind the play of their seniors.  Charlotte Latin’s Ned Hull hit a late three to cut the deficit at halftime, with Robinson leading 30-25.

This game started to heat up in the second half, with both teams finding success offensively and really picking up the intensity on both sides of the ball.  Charlotte Latin still found themselves down at the end of the third quarter, but they were only down one, 43-42.  Fourth quarter came around, and the intensity continued, with Charlotte Latin taking the lead early in the fourth and the lead started to go back and forth.  Robinson was able to regain the lead back and eventually, with the clock running low, they were able to make just enough plays on both ends to eventually secure the 65-56 win.
