2024 DJ Shine (Upward Stars)
This kid is super talented! He was impressive all day long. He has a nice mid-range touch to him and there was really nothing that could speed him up. He was hitting shots and getting to the rim at will, making some tough passes, and doing a great job of using his body and creating space. Overall a solid crafty point guard who coaches need to be watching. This is a very special kid right here who will find a great home at the next level.
2023 Jahreece Lynch (Spartans)
This kid was pure dominant in these games today. The most impressive thing about his performance was how easy he was making it all look. He has great size at the guard position and was doing it all on the court. He displayed raw athleticism with his dunks and also his defense around the rim. I just love how he contains very confident and composed demeanor under his outstanding performances. There will be a very lucky coach to get this kid who I believe is college-ready!
2024 David Gray (Spartans)
One of my favorites so far. He was just in control of these games from start to finish. He had great court vision all around and was using his aggressiveness to create and find open teammates. You can just tell he has a good feel for the game. He was super active on both sides of the floor and also contains a solid size for a guard. He gets to the rack at will and played hard every single minute. This kid is filled with potential and coaches need to take notice because somebody is going to miss a great opportunity on this kid.
2024 Jaelen McKee (Hurricanes)
This was a kid who really made an impression on me in the first few minutes of watching him play. It was fun watching how easily he picked the defense apart and was getting in the paint making plays left and right. He was dominating offensively and using his athleticism to get to the rim was just in all out attack mode all game long. He is very good at finishing through contact and uses his strength to power through defenders. Also one thing I loved was how active he was on the defensive end. All those coaches out there this is not the player you want to play against so take advantage!
