Phenom Hoops wanted to dive into a bit more Central Michigan’s 2023 recruiting class, as they have recently landed two prospects to the class that we have watched recently and know a bit about.

Central Michigan right now has Cayden Vasko, Shaedon Simpson, and Hunter Harding all committed to the class so far, with Simpson and Harding being familiar faces to the platform.

2023 6’6 Shaedon Simpson is a player that has really grown into a tremendous player and could be a very nice piece in the coming years for the program. Simpson has the size and length that you like, but he is also one that can be a threat with his outside shooting ability. He has a smooth, fluid release, can knock down shots from multiple levels, and has added more to his game with his ability to create more for himself, gets to the basket, and showcase a strong IQ/feel for the game.

2023 Hunter Harding is a player we also recently watched at our Phenom Hoops LIVE, as he was a big part for NuStep Black at the event. The 7-footer brings size to the table for sure, as he has a big build, carves out space, has solid hands, keeps the ball high offensively, soft touch in finishing, and can really make a nice presence on the glass.

Simpson and Harding will now be joining 2023 6’6 Cayden Vasko as part of a nice three-man class for 2023, while Central Michigan is also adding some key transfers in Anthony Pritchard, Aidan Rubio, and Zane Foster.
