6’3 2022 Jaden Lingo (TSF 17U/Druid Hills)

Jaden is a scoring combo guard with an athletic frame that could continue to develop in girth. Lingo has penetrated the lane well this afternoon, scoring from all 3 levels at a consistent rate. His dominant scoring display in game one caught the attention of many. Game two saw a setback from his team as a whole, competing against a talented group. Lingo still carried a majority of the scoring load in the tough loss, but how he bounces back tomorrow will be a testament to his consistency.

6’6 2022 Isaiah Williams (Upward Stars Columbia/Blythewood)

Williams proved himself to be a definite standout in a group full of talent. The wing prospect has a fairly solid-built wing and thrives from within the arc. Has shown an ability to stretch beyond the three-point line, but needs to continue to expand on this. Currently lacking an explosiveness off the dribble, but currently compensates with his prowess in the low post. Can develop into a useful piece at the next level.

6’3 2022 LeBron Thomas (FIBA 2022/Trinity Collegiate)

Coming in off one of the more decorated junior seasons that any player in this tournament can claim, Thomas began his weekend off with a 30 point game. Got to the rim with ease, as usual, and stayed competitive until the very end. Thomas should continue to work on his body in an effort to expand both his offensive and defensive capabilities. He already gets to the rim well, increasing his ability to finish through contact will only serve him well.

6’10 2022 Melian Martinez (Big Shots 17U/Moravian Prep)

Melian is a bit of a late bloomer but has made noticeable strides in his game over the last 6 months. A slender, towering frame paired with a desire to play hard. D2/D3 coaches looking to find a true center should seriously consider coming to watch Martinez play, as I believe the best of his career may be yet to come.
