Expect Offers to Start Flowing in Soon

Even after averaging over ten (10) points per game at the prestigious NC Top 80 Camp, many people in this area, have still not heard of Millbrook High School's 6'4 wing Trejon Jacob. I have a feeling however that is soon to change.

Two years ago, Jacob came from Houston, Texas where he was a starter for his high school team. Last year, at Millbrook, he moved into a 6th man role. Millbrook High School made it to the NCHSAA 4A State Final Four, and Jacob averaged right at 10 points per game for that team.

Fast forward now to his Senior year, and Jacob is the featured player. So far, through the Summer, Millbrook has played in three (3) events. They have won each game, and none of them have been by less than 15 points. In Phenom Hoops most recent North Carolina 2016 rankings (See Them Here) Jacob jumped up to the number twenty-three (23) position.

It has been Jacob that has led the way, averaging over 17 points per game. He has such a smooth feel, he is able to score at all three (3) levels. The lefty has deep, confident range from beyond the arc, where he always seems to catch the ball squared and ready to release. He is great in transition where he has a combination of length, craftiness, and explosion at the rim.

As you watch Jacob, you quickly realize he is not all buckets. Jacob has a great feel for the game. He carries great vision from the wing, routinely making the great (if not spectacular) pass to the open man. He is also a terror defensively. He is great at the top of the press, or playing the wing. His length and athleticism cause a lot of steals and deflections.

Jacob has a smooth feel to his game, but after you chart his production you get a true sense of the many ways in which he impacts the play. Currently he doesn't have any offers, but that should change quickly. Jacob will be back playing July AAU with Houston Team Texas. Expect the offer sheet to start to fill up, and the interest to really pick up steam as more coaches sit and watch him play.
