In the 16U Blue Division Silver Championship game two talented teams faced off as Team Winston 2021 squared up against Team CP3 2022. Team Winston got off to a blistering start thanks in part to 5'10 G Tyriek Leach who finished the game with a team-high 17 points and was doing so in a number of ways. After a slow start, Team CP3 began to get their footing. 5'11 PG Khalil Marshall seemingly took the game over for a three-minute stretch including a number of steals, easy run out layups and timely passes. His scoring and impact was immense to gain momentum back for his team as he finished the game with 20 points and CO-MVP honors. Kheni Briggs was huge for Team CP3 as well as he scored a game-high 22 points including a left-handed poster jam to seal the deal down the stretch as he garnered CO-MVP honors as well. 6'6 W Anthony Sellars proved once again how versatile he can for Team Winston be as he guarded 1-5 and was doing everything out there en route to a 15-point performance including two three-pointers. The play of Team CP3 was great down the stretch as they ended up winning the game 83-75. That being said, both of these teams have a lot of next-level talent and coaches should be watching both teams VERY closely.
