Ty-Shon Alexander is a 6-3, 180 pound guard that is nationally ranked by a few scouting sites. He played with Oak Hill Academy last season and has been the leader for a talented Team Charlotte that took home some hardware last week at the Under Armour Association Finals.
Last week, Alexander scored 14 points for Team Charlotte as they won 56-46 over Canada Elite to take home the championship.
Alexander is a more than capable guard that has the ability to light it up from the outside but also use his height and abiillty to handle the ball to find his own way to put points on the board. That is certainly what he showed last week in front of Rivals, as they see him having a chance to rise up their rankings if he continues what he has done this July.
Also coming up huge for Team Charlotte was 2017 combo guard Ty-Shon Alexander. Alexander slid into the 2017 Rivals150 at No. 100 and is a guy who has the ability to be ranked much higher. Friday night he was hitting big shots, engaged on both ends of the floor and looked much more like the kid who stormed onto the scene last summer than the player who has been inconsistent for the past six months.
Alexander currently holds offers from Charlotte, Clemson, and Virginia Tech, but there are a few programs right now keeping an eye on the shooting guard.
Phenom Hoops has been high on the talented North Carolina native and it seems that Alexander could be returning back to form after an excellent summer. The talent has always been there, but now, this could be his chance to really pull in the offers from programs on a national level
