Myers Park made a statement at the George Lynch Invitational this past weekend, showcasing one of the most balanced offensive attacks. Rather than relying on a single star, the Mustangs’ starting group consistently shared the scoring load, moved the ball with purpose, and highlighted their collective versatility. Each starter brought something unique—whether shot-making, creation, size, or defensive presence—and together they formed a cohesive unit that brought unselfish play. Their performance was a clear reminder that Myers Park’s strength lies not just in individual talent, but in the seamless way they operate as a complete, connected group.

2027 6’6 Thomas Vickery

Vickery seems to be one of the clear leaders for this group and deservingly so, as he has seen a big uptick in his recruitment. He brings size, big-time athleticism, physicality, and a multi-level scoring presence for Myers Park, whether it is looking for his shot from outside or creating for himself.  He should be in for a big season in leading the charge for Myers Park.

2026 6’3 Mack Walters

Walters, a veteran guard, really flourished on the court at the event, showcasing just how impactful he can be for this team. From his ability to be a perimeter threat, as well as a competitor on both sides, Walters provides a strong presence that will greatly benefit Myers Park this season.

2027 6’3 Cash Hall

Hall is another weapon, especially with his perimeter game and shot-making. He does a great job in moving without the ball and creating opportunities for his jumper, but he is also shifty enough to make some plays off the bounce. Hall, along with Walters, really helps open up the offense.

2028 6’5 Ayo Awosanya

Awosanya is a tremendous utility player for this group, doing what is needed, playing bigger than listed, and just finding ways to impact the game. Whether it is scoring inside, competing on the glass, running the floor, defending bigger opponents, or just bringing energy, Awosanya makes his presence well-known.

2028 6’4 Rucker Jamison

Jamison has continued to improve with his game, along with getting bigger and stronger. He understands how to lead the charge, create off the bounce, plays with pace, and can be a consistent scoring presence off the bounce. Jamison will be counted on big-time in leading this offense this season.
