What a great event it was this past weekend, with Phenom Hoops bringing in some of the top talents from South Carolina all under one building.  A state that has been rich with talent but at times goes under the radar, it seems like there is some incredible talent to be found and we are looking to highlight that even more.

2023 Quentin Houston has been another guard that has played on the Phenom platform on several occasions, as we have been able to get multiple viewings of what he can provide on the court. The South Carolina Top 80 was simply the latest, as the 6’2 guard played extremely well, averaging 16.7 points per game throughout the event.

Houston plays with a ton of energy on the court, as the playmaking guard shows his ability to score the ball effectively, be a consistent threat with his shot-making from the perimeter, attacking different matchups, and having good court awareness on the floor.  At the camp, he was able to showcase his ability to get into the paint, score from multiple levels, be a threat from three, and simply create for himself and others.

Very good showing for the senior guard and expect him to continue that trend at Rock Hill this season.

What Was Said:

“6’2 2023 Quentin Houston (Rock Hill) has the ability to fill it up in a hurry. Quick, shifty guard who can playmake & create his own shot. Has knocked down multiple shots from behind the arc. Creates multiple paint touches. #SCTop80”

“He’s a wiry, skilled, athletic guard prospect with a high motor, unselfish approach, and strong feel for the game on either side of the ball. Houston is quick and crafty with the necessary ball handling to create for himself or others as needed. That being said, he’s a great cutter and excellent spot-up threat who simply knows how to provide instant offense and three-level scoring prowess alongside any collection of teammates. Houston is also a tough, scrappy defender with nice instincts and the ability to score at a frequent rate in transition.” – SC Top 80 in 2022
