Summer ball is up and going for teams all around the country, as Phenom Hoops continues to highlight players we have watched. Our very own Patrick O’Brien has been reviewing the tape and diving into the Circuits, recently watching the action in the EYBL, as we hope to highlight more players. We recently had a chance to watch 2026 6’6 Jayden Johnson from Indy Heat, as he looks to impress college coaches big-time this summer,r while others continue to stay strong with him. Check out what we had to say about his game, as well as the latest in his recruitment.

Scouting Report:

Reviewing the film and looking to check out some of the top prospects in the country, we recently tuned in to watch Indy Heat and the talent they brought to the court. 2026 Marcus Johnson gets a lot of the attention, but we also had a nice view of 2026 6’6 Jayden Johnson, a prospect that brings a lot of intangibles that you have to like. Though he was battling through an injury and getting adjusted to the team, Johnson gave you those flashes in his game that certainly should have the attention of high-major programs. He has a college-ready frame, with a sturdy build but also a game that allows him to flourish in a variety of ways. Johnson is comfortable as a multi-level scorer, not only showcasing range and fluidity, but also has a strong dribble pull-up and can make strong plays off the bounce. He plays with a smooth feel that allows him to operate within the offense, make good decisions, but also be an effective scoring option on the court. With his versatility on the court on both sides, Johnson can be a strong impact player in several areas of the court, as he brings good value when he takes the court.
