Former HS and AAU Coach Evaluation: Resean has been the consummate hard worker. Sincecoming to NSA, he has improved his range to the 3point line, developed a consistent mid-range jump shot, improved his ball handling as well as his free-throw percentage. He attacks the offensive glass to get easy tip dunks and put backs. He is a team player who is able to get to the rim when given space. He runs the floor hard with a scorer’s mentality, competes every possession and with his active hands and long reach he deflects a lot of balls which results into steals for his teammates. He is a ball magnet on the defensive boards. With the ball in his hands, he able to get to the rim and has become a better finisher through contact. Off the ball, he understands space and movement as he slashes though the defenses for easy finishes. Resean has a tremendous upside and he will be a great find for a high level DII college team at the present. His upside and his GPA, gives him the potential to become a low level DI prospect. – Coach Lamont Strothers. Coach Strothers played collegiately at Christopher Newport University before an 11 year professional career which included 4 years in the NBA for Golden State, Portland and Dallas.

HS Coach Evaluation: Rasean is a great rebounder and can stretch the floor on offense. He also has a high basketball IQ. I expect Rasean to come in and make an immediate impact on our team. Rasean can knock down the 15ft to 18ft jumper with ease and can get to the basket with the dribble and finish. His versatility gives us so many more options and his positive attitude and work ethic is contagious. Rasean can definitely play at the college level with his work ethic and skill set, we’re looking forward to having him this upcoming season. – Coach Mike Holland, Churchland High School. Coach Holland starred at Churchland High School before playing collegiately at Christopher Newport University.

Coach Frank says: Resean is a long and bouncy wing who combines an array of perimeter skills with the length and physical durability that allows him to be a solid inside/outside threat. He is a relentless rebounder and an excellent shot blocker as he is always active and has a nose for the basketball. He has the ability to guard either wing or the post. Resean can rip a rebound off the glass and go the length of the floor to score or lead the break and make the right play in transition. He handles the ball well and can create off the bounce or he can step out beyond the arc and knock down the three pointer at a very good percentage. Resean makes good cuts, has excellent hands and sound footwork and is a threat facing the basket or with his back to the basket. He plays hard, runs the floor and is one of the most versatile players in the 757. Resean is a next level prospect college coaches should be watching closely.
