Dylan Betts

2028 6’4 Adan Diggs (Arizona Unity) – Williams Field HS

Diggs is going to be a national name quickly and he will be a hot commodity for college programs, as he already holds offers from several. The 6’4 prospect has an incredible feel for a player at his age, has a mature understanding of how to operate on the court and lets the game come to him. He shows tremendous patience and feel, making great reads, finding teammates, and being a strong scoring option whether off the dribble and creating or knocking down shots from a variety of areas.  Diggs is a true three-level scorer and has a high IQ for the game.  Again, he looks to be a big-time national name that you will be hearing a lot about.

2028 7’0 Dylan Betts (KC Run GMC) – Cherry Creek HS

Betts was one of the first players that I watched and noticed, and then learning that he was part of the Class of 2028 only intrigued me more.  Betts is just starting his journey as a player and he will only continue to develop and get stronger. But what you notice early on with the big man is his incredible touch and feel around the basket, understanding how to be an effective scorer with a soft touch, running the floor from rim to rim, and being engaged without the ball for easy drop-offs or putbacks. And defensively, his length and fluidity make him a problem as a rim protector and shot-blocker. There is a lot to like about this young man, especially with his size, and he will be a hot target for many schools down the road.

2028 6’5 Marque Johnson (New Heights Lightning) – College Achieve Greater Asbury Charter

Another new name that grabbed our attention was Johnson, as he has an extremely mature frame and feel for a player at his age. The 6’5 prospect has a strong frame and good athleticism to his game, as he is comfortable being an option in a variety of areas. Johnson moves well without the ball, is a strong scoring option that embraces contact and being physical, can finish tough around or at the rim, and can knock down shots from the perimeter as well. I really liked the early flashes of his game and what he provides, as he will be another name for college coaches in the Class of 2028.
