2025 Isaiah Denis (Davidson Day) vs. 2026 Bradley Floyd (WS Christian)

Denis is one of the best players in the state and nationally, and has shown that early with his assertive nature, downhill ability, and shot-making capabilities from multiple levels. The UNC commit has shown all of that in leading the charge. Bradley Floyd has a ton of potential and this is a big opportunity to show that. He is one who can score and be a stat-stuffer, rebounding, facilitating, and being effective defensively. Floyd though will have his hands full but again, is a big opportunity.

2026 Will Stevens (Davidson Day) vs. 2026 Tyson Thompson (WS Christian)

Another interesting matchup on Day 1 will be Stevens vs. Thompson. Stevens is a blossoming big that does a great job in being a defensive stopper, altering shots and making it tough on defenders while also showing touch offensively. But he will be going up against a very physical big man in Thompson, who can carve out space and be a bruiser down low.  This will be a big matchup to watch for both teams.

2025 Josiah Parker (Combine Academy) vs. 2025 Zymicah Wilkins (Christ School)

Parker is not only a new player here in North Carolina, but the forward has really made a name for himself with his versatility, his footwork, his touch and feel, and his ability to fill it up offensively. He has been a secret weapon for Combine but he isn’t a secret anymore. He will be matching up with one of the best big men in Wilkins for Christ School, as he to shows footwork, operates well in the paint and with his back to the basket, and has been impacting the game on both sides of the ball. This will be a must-see TV between these two prospects.
