Head Coach Kurtis Darden is the reigning 2-time NCISAA 2A State Champion at Village Christian Academy. With Jordan Ratliffe going to VMI, that was his ninth player he has sent to a Division 1 program with numerous others signing D2 and D3 financial packages.

This year Darden has reloaded with talent. He has skill, length and size and a load a good basketball players.

6'3' 2018 Junub Chuol
Chuol played last season at Blair Academy in New Jersey. He is a jet quick guard with the ability to score at 3 levels and get where he wants off the bounce. Extremely quick twitch, Chuol should immediately gain notoriety in region as one of the top point guards. He carries offers from the likes of UMass, Rutgers, St Louis, Wyoming, and VCU…More will come.

6'7' 2019 Khuath Gatkuath
Gatkuath carries a great skill set and frame for his position. He played last year at Bellevue West High School in Omaha, Nebraska. He is a wing who is able to handle, get downhill or knock down the open jump shot with range. There is nice upside here.

6'2' 2019 Travion McCray

McCray is a tough minded guard. He has a solid handle to go along with the ability to score the ball. Even with all the talent already on the roster, Darden states that most games it will be McCray who leads the team in scoring. In the open gym, McCray showed his competitiveness and drive to win.
