Arguably the most lethal shooting threat in every building he enters, it’s pretty easy to see why Quinn would be an asset for various programs. While there are plenty of available shooters, very few possess the unlimited range, quick release, and sheer accuracy of someone like him. Quinn can reliably attack closeouts, make extra passes, and mix it up as needed, but often makes his biggest impact when forcing opponents to stay attached along the perimeter. He’s a smart player who understands how to move without the ball and consistently finds open holes within the defense. Quinn is also a solid defender and rebounder for his size/position.
What To Expect:
It feels like everyone who watches Quinn quickly becomes a believer and general fan of his game. Few guys throughout the Carolinas are capable of matching the threat he poses as an elite marksman from beyond the arc. Sure, Quinn is a useful passer, defender, and penetrator, but knows how to constantly play to his strengths. He’s a quality off-ball cutter with natural instincts as a spot-up threat and the ability to exploit open seams within the defense. Quinn possesses deep range, incredible consistency, and a very quick release, which makes him a difficult assignment for the majority of opponents. He simply knows how to find opportunities within the flow of the action and heats up quickly from the perimeter. All coaches claim to want shooting, well, Quinn is easily one of the best shooters available. Expect him to have a notable senior season for Westminster Catawba.
