Just because the LIVE period is over in April, doesn’t mean that Phenom Hoops is stopping their coverage, as we are bringing you a ton of post-event coverage as well throughout the coming weeks.  Let’s dive into a few players and teams that we saw at the event, as we shed light on players that performed well throughout.

NLPB Team Select 2024

This is a team that has continued to come to the Phenom Hoops platform, and they are producing in a big way.  But this is also a team that has talent that can be used at the next level, which is why we want to shed more light their way.

2024 6’4 Brendan Bailey – Bailey had a very good overall weekend, averaging 22ppg and 12 rebounds throughout the event. He was the definition of toughness and production, as he brings a football-type feel, is extremely physical with his play, and competes on every play.  He plays with a high motor and though he may not be flashy, he is an effective and efficient three-level scorer and showed that consistently.

2024 6’2 Jordan Dixon – Dixon has had a lot of talk surrounding him and once you watch him, you can see why. He averaged 15ppg and 7rpg throughout the event, and there is one word that quickly jumps out with him: explosive.  He is extremely athletic and a powerful finisher at the rim, rising above defenders and throwing it down. But outside of playing above the rim, he can score, facilitate, and makes good reads on the court.

2024 6’0 Brady Lawson – The 6’0 guard is one that can make his mark from behind the arc, being an efficient shooter but also one that can finish at the rim, competes on the boards, and is a solid defender as well on the floor.

2024 5’9 Logan Cassell – Cassell is another very good shooter for this team, and he has shown all summer long that he can be a difference-maker. So far, he is shooting nearly 66 percent from behind the arc and shows just how good his range can be.  Cassell can also make his presence felt as a pesky defender who creates steals as well.

2024 6’4 Lundon Pritchett – Pritchett is one of the best defenders for this team, as he usually guards the opponent’s best player.  He is a proven workhorse on the court, loves to battle on every play, and rebounds very well.  Pritchett though also can step up and knock down shots.

2024 6’2 Charlie McHugh is as solid as a player as it gets; he competes, can be a presence as a scorer, rebounds, defends, and can be that double-double type player on the court. 2024 6’5 Malik Ware is a highflyer that can get to the rim but also knock down shots. He is a rim protector with his athleticism that helps make winning plays.  2024 6’6 Jackson Hobbs is a strong wing/post player that can stretch the floor, protects the paint, and finish around the basket.  2025 6’1 Dace Potts is that true point guard that gets everyone involved, sees the floor, and can be an efficient three-point shooter.
