The action continued between Combine Academy, who was coming off a loss to Moravian, and Henderson Collegiate, who was looking to make a statement on Saturday.

Henderson Collegiate came out strong and active, pushing Combine Academy back on his heels but Combine came right back and punched back led by their guards.  Freshman Robert Dillingham came off the bench and was on fire in the first half, going 4-for-5 from three on his to 16-first half points.  Combine was also able to create 11 turnovers, which helped them earn a double-digit lead in the second quarter.

Henderson Collegiate was led by Kalib Mathews with 13 points, going 3-for-4 from behind the arc, while Javonte Waverly had 6 and AK Holden finished with 7 in the first half.

In the second half, the three guards continued to rack up the figures in the second half as Combine Academy eventually increased their lead up to 27 points in the second half.  Dillingham was showing his full arsenal with 26 points, while Robinson chipped in 13 and Hood-Schifino finished with 11.

Henderson Collegiate continued to play their style but turnovers were an issue (21 total).  Four players finished in double figures, with Mathews leading the way with 18.  In the fourth quarter, Henderson showed their fight, outscoring Combine 21-10 but, in the end, it wasn’t enough.
