6’2 ’28 Alena Dilione (Westover)

Although she was already very productive as a freshman, it’s easy to see how much Dilione has already progressed over her first two high school seasons. She’s a strong, mobile post player with a sturdy frame and quality feel on both ends of the floor. Dilione is a terrific rebounder who consistently carves out space around the basket, secures extra possessions, and runs the floor effectively in transition. She positions herself well to block shocks defensively. Dilione has visibly expanded her skillset from a pure interior player to a versatile, inside-out piece. Already a matchup problem, it’ll be fascinating to see how much her game develops going forward.
6’1 ’28 Justice Alexander (Concord Academy)

Undoubtedly one of the most skilled players in North Carolina, Alexander is a real matchup problem for opponents. She operates as the main creator and overall source of offense for this group, and finds amazing success in doing so. Alexander possesses a polished, well-rounded scoring arsenal with the ability to apply pressure as a penetrator, pick her spots in the midrange, or highlight her deep range from beyond the arc. Although she’s capable of scoring at a high volume, she’s a quality playmaker and willing passer. Alexander also rebounds her position and forces turnovers well defensively. She should only continue trending upward.
6’3 ’28 Victorian Collins (Concord Academy)

Given her unique array of physical tools and natural rim-protection instincts, it’s clear that Collins has the makings of a notable prospect. She’s an incredibly long, wiry post player who reliably anchors the paint as a rebounder and interior defender. Collins utilizes her nice mobility and exceptional timing to consistently block or alter shots. She secures rebounds at a quality rate and runs the floor properly in transition. Collins is a capable finisher but her offensive ability should only continue to grow as she adds strength. Her long-term upside is extremely intriguing.
6’1 ’29 Autumn Lacy (North Meck)

Although it should come as no surprise to see another high-level prospect emerging for the Lady Vikings, Lacy appears to have the makings of a noteworthy talent. She’s a long, wiry guard with incredible size, skill, and athleticism. Lacy consistently wreaks havoc with her physicality, high motor, and nose for the ball. She’s comfortable initiating the offense or operating without the ball in her hands, as she already knows how to find success in both areas. Lacy is a quick, crafty creator who can set up others and score from all levels. Add in her rebounding and defensive presence, and she simply knows how to impact all facets of the game. Given her all-around game, it’s easy to envision her becoming a nationally recognized prospect.
