Sunrise Christian has been a program producing elite talent over the years and that trend is only continuing, as there is talent to be found everywhere you look. Phenom Hoops recently caught up with 2026 6’8 Noah Hill, a forward who has been grabbing the attention of college coaches. We recently spoke to him about how his summer went Pro Skills, his game and development, his latest offer from Wichita State, and who else has been in contact with him. Check out our latest Phenom 1-on-1.
Phenom: How was everything this past season for you and your team? And how has this summer gone for you overall?
Hill: Everything went very well for me. Especially for this to be my first year playing on the EYBL circuit. I average 11 and 6 off the bench, and I believe I grew as a basketball player. As for our team, Pro Skills, it didn’t end how we wanted it to, but we made it to the final four in Peach Jam.
Phenom: How would you best describe your game and how you like to operate? Where do you flourish?
Hill: I am a physical and athletic forward, and I bring a presence inside on the offensive and defensive end. I flourish around the rim.
Phenom: What areas of your game have you been working on to develop?
Hill: I have been working on shooting uncontested threes and trying to master that.
Phenom: What are your thoughts on your latest offer? What did the staff have to say, who has been your main contact, and what all do you know about them?
Hill: I am very excited and thankful for my latest offer to Wichita State. I have been in contact with Coach Quincy Acy, I know that Wichita State has had some strong years in the AAC, and I know that Coach Acy and I share a lot of similarities.
Phenom: What other offers do you hold? And who has been strong with you from those?
Hill: I also hold an offer from Texas A&M and I have been in contact with Coach Lyle Wolf for some time now.
Phenom: What kind of relationships have you been able to build with these programs?
Hill: I have been able to build really great relationships. I’ve also been able to learn new things about the recruiting process as well. (Everything is new for me because I’ve only been playing basketball since 2021).
Phenom: What other schools have been showing interest that have yet to offer?
Hill: The other Schools showing me interest are Loyola Chicago, Texas Tech, Oral Roberts, San Jose State, and Penn.
Phenom: What schools have you been able to visit? If so, what did you like about each?
Hill: So far, I have visited Texas Tech and Texas A&M. I really liked how welcoming Texas Tech was and how hospitable they were. I got a chance to talk to Coach Mac and just really build relationships there. I loved being at Texas A&M for the same reasons but also because I got to interact with the team more and get more of a campus feel.
Phenom: Any schools you want to visit or any visits you have set up in the future?
Hill: I would love to visit San Jose State, Loyola Chicago, and take an official visit to Texas A&M and Texas Tech.
