No. 2 4’5 ’22 Xavier Mayo (Pinetops, NC)
Xavier may be small and young, but he is advanced beyond his years. He came into camp with a great attitude and work ethic and demonstrated a high basketball IQ for his age/grade. Coach Black stated, “I really fell in love with Xavier. He’s a great teammate and plays both ends of the court.” Overall, Xavier has advanced skills for his age.
No. 38 5’2 ’22 Jordan Crawford (Charlotte, NC)
Jordan established himself early on as one to watch over the course of his middle school. He exhibited a tremendous attitude and a willingness to work hard. Coach Black stated, “Jordan is a PG that makes others better. He has a high IQ for his age and is a great teammate. Be on the lookout for Jordan!”We also like his intensity on both ends of the court.
No. 98 5’6 ’21 Markel Lloyd (Henderson, NC)
The first thing that impressed us about Markel was his energy and passion. This young man plays extremely hard. He has a high motor and exerts maximum effort throughout the day. Coach Black stated,“Markel is a workhorse. He has a great attitude and accepts criticism well. Teammates love him and rebounds well.” In addition, he moved remarkably well without the ball.
No. 99 5’2 ’21 Brand Morgan (High Point, NC)
Brand is team first player and understands the importance to play hard on both ends of the court. He can handle the ball, pass and has the ability to scored. He does a lot of things exceptionally well. Coach Black stated, “ Brandon plays hard and is a great teammate. He shoots the ball well and gives great effort.”Overall, Brandon scored high on all the categories in our evaluation.
No. 101 5’6 ’21 Brandon Sanders (Clayton, NC)
Brandon scored high in attitude, acceptance of criticism, basketball IQ, effort and team play. Without question, he already has the foundation of what it takes to become successful on the basketball court. Coach Black stated, “Brandon works hard on both ends of the court. He was a great teammate and a pleasure to coach.”
