THOUGHTS ON GREELY:
The West Virginia Class of 2016 is absolutely stacked. After traveling to Parkersburg, WV earlier this June to scout some elite talent at the first annual Court XIV Exposure Camp, Nick Greely was one player that caught our eye right from the start. Standing at 6’7”, the Bridgeport Indian rising senior made his name known the second he stepped foot in the building.

Greely is an explosive offensive player with great build and an extraordinarily high basketball IQ. After watching him knock down countless amounts of mid-range jumpers, we immediately knew we had to add this kid to our radar. Bucket after bucket, board after board, Greely’s overall play was flat-out sensational throughout the course of the afternoon. One thing we loved was his ability to score despite being closely guarded by opposing defenders. His athleticism and gifted skillset consistently allowed him to create plays for his squad during crucial moments down the stretch.

Defensively, Greely is a horse. He plays scrappy on-ball defense, attacks the glass with a purpose, and always finds a way to be in the right place at the right time. If he can slightly improve his stamina and work on a few additional pieces to his game, his possibilities are endless. This hoss has an unreal amount of potential. Greely is the type of player that all coaches dream of having on their roster. He has unreal determination, a team leader mindset, and an overall love for the game of basketball. His sole purpose is to make players around him better, and have a little fun in the process. Who wouldn’t want to take a chance on kid like this'

After an impressive summer of AAU play, Greely racked in two D1 offers from Maine and VMI, and received interest from several other high-major programs. We are beyond excited to see how Greely progresses this coming season. People can definitely expect Bridgeport to make some noise in 2A this year.
