From Hoop Group:
Dereon Seabron – Already a state champion, the Norcom product showed a lot of promise with Team Loaded 757 in Manheim. He’s a lanky wing with open floor ability, and he plays active on both ends of the floor. Seabron had multiple games in double figures….

AAU Club Name:
Team Loaded

AAU Coach Evaluation:
Dereon Seabron is a long & lanky combo guard who reminds me a lot of Jamal Crawford or Michigan’s Caris LeVert. He needs to add about 15 pounds but is already wiry strong and has the ability to go coast to coast and finish with contact. He has a very good jump shot from three point range and has the ability to fit into tight spaces and finish with contact. Defensively he uses his length to get steals in the passing lane, as an on ball defender he stays active with his feet and hands and makes it hard for shorter guards to throw over. – Coach Quinton Marteniez, Team Loaded

Coach Frank says:
One of Virginia’s most gifted 2018’s Dereon Seabron oozes with athleticism. Lanky and strong Dereon is quick, handles the ball very well and gets wherever he wants to on the court. He can shoot the three pointer with good consistency and shoot with equal consistency off the bounce. Dereon, who is terrific in the open floor is a matchup problem for defenders given his quickness and length and uses that advantage to aggressively attack the basket where he is an excellent finisher with serious bounce, can finish with either hand! His explosiveness allows him to be effective in traffic and for a high scoring player he is an excellent passer. Dereon has very good defensive footwork and lateral quickness. He can guard either wing position and the post. He is on a very talented team at Norcom High School and is a key contributor for them. No question you will be hearing a lot more from this exciting 2018 prospect as his high school career advances and he moves on to the next level!
