HS Coach Evaluation:
When you think of impact players you will get excited when you see this young man on the basketball floor. Ladaron has the skill sets, attitude, work ethic, and desire to be a big time performer for years to come. The growth in this young man on and off the floor in one summer is amazing. The sky is the limit for his ability, and with his desire to learn the game and his hunger for greatness he will be another top level recruit to come out of the Kecoughtan Basketball factory. Ladaron is so confident in his ability he has already let it be known that he will be wearing the Kecoughtan #5 jersey once it’s available after this year. That’s the same number worn by Duke Dorsey, Rajay Bullock, and currently Damian Knowlin, all among Kecoughtan’s all time best players! I love this kid’s “basketball swag”. – Coach Willie Gause, Head Coach Kecoughtan High School Basketball

Coach Frank says:
Ladaron is an intense, high motor competitor who gets after you on every possession regardless of the situation! An extremely athletic and quick guard, Ladaron uses a crafty handle and explosiveness to blow by defenders with relative ease and slices to the basket where he is an outstanding finisher. A lefty, Ladaron has a very good hesitation dribble move, stays low and quick and can pull up on a dime for a smooth and very consistent mid range jumper or knock down the step back jumper. While Ladaron can shoot the jumper with better than average consistency he is most dangerous in transition or with the ball on the drive in the half court where he is shifty, bouncy and a very good passer. Defensively he is a lockdown, harassing on ball defender with strong defensive skills and athleticism. He finishes plays on both ends, competes! He’s the kind of competitor that can will a team to success. Ladaron has elite athleticism and is among the top 2018’s I saw in Virginia this past summer.
