Player: Tarris Bouie
Class: 2026
School: Chambers
Almost every year, Chambers is a team that has the attention of many coming into the season and offers a lot of talent on the court. That narrative hasn’t changed heading into this upcoming season, as this is a roster that presents some strong talent. What is great about the fall league though, is that we get an early updated viewing of players and what they may be bringing to the upcoming season.
2026 6’6 Tarris Bouie has been a prospect on our radar for some time now, as we noticed his potential early on. But watching him recently at the Phenom Fall League, one can clearly see that this is a young man clearly making the right strides and not only adding more to his game but also getting stronger as a player. Bouie certainly grabbed our attention with his frame and looking stronger overall, which has only helped him in an array of ways with his game. And the confidence continues to skyrocket as well, as he continues to flourish as an extremely strong scoring option that is able to light it up from deep, rise up over defenders with ease, and finish high at the rim. His energy and mentality change the game and with him growing more into his body, Bouie continues to take his game to another level. Expect him to be one of the premier talents once again in the state of North Carolina.
Right now, he holds offers from Georgia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Georgetown, Alabama, Mississippi State, Appalachian State, Charlotte, Charleston, and several others, while more schools continue to express interest his way.
Sophomore 40 Evaluation:
“He’s a smart, skilled, athletic wing prospect with a long, wiry frame and obvious long-term appeal. Bouie is already a highly polished three-level scorer who understands how to effectively create for himself and others or find success without the ball. He’s a lethal shooting threat who opponents must stay attached to along the perimeter. However, Bouie can reliably attack closeouts, pull up off the bounce, finish at the basket, or set up others. He utilizes his length very well defensively to contain his assignment and force turnovers at a healthy rate. Bouie also isn’t afraid to involve himself in the rebounding battle and push the break in transition. Coach Williams on Bouie: “Tarris is a three-level scoring wing who should appeal to Division I coaches. Scores the ball in several ways, both in transition and the half court.” Bouie continues to impress with each new viewing and should only continue to blossom as a focal point for Chambers.
